境外媒体称，华为创始人任正非9月26日表明，华为乐意将其5G移动通讯技能授权给一家美国公司，企图缓解各界对华为产品的安全疑虑。

据路透社9月26日报导，任正非还表明，他不怕培育竞赛对手，并且上述提议还或许包含芯片规划方面的技能。

另据香港《信报》网站9月26日报导，任正非表明，华为能够将5G技能独家授权给一家美国公司。

报导称，任正非与美英的科学家及学者对话时指出，由于欧洲、韩国及日本等都有自己的5G技能，但美国没有，华为能够将5G技能独家授权给一家美国公司，包含源代码、硬件技能、测控、交给、出产经历，乃至芯片规划亦可授权，获授权的公司能够在全世界与华为竞赛。

被问到为何会把5G技能给一家美国公司授权，任正非表明，期望将来能够和欧洲、日本、韩国、美国公司在同一起跑线再次起跑，而华为有决心能跑赢，所以就有决心敞开。

他指出，华为把5G技能独家授权给一家西方公司，便会引进强壮的竞赛对手，能够迫使公司员工不松懈。他表明，不忧虑会呈现强壮的竞赛对手。

路透社称，任正非宣布上述说话前曾在本月表明，关于将包含专利、程序代码、蓝图、出产技能在内的5G技能一次性卖给西方企业，他持敞开情绪。

此外据《日本经济新闻》9月26日报导，任正非9月26日表明，华为能够在没有美国供货商的情况下生计，由于现已为全部5G设备找到了代替供货商。
